[이데일리 이재길 기자] 김근식 경남대 교수는 진성준 더불어민주당 의원이 ‘집값 안 떨어진다’는 발언으로 논란에 휩싸인 데 대해 “진보진영 이중성의 민낯이 드러난 것”이라고 질타했다.
김 교수는 17일 페이스북을 통해 “생방송 중에는 입에 침이 마르게 부동산값 잡을수 있다고, 투기 막겠다고 열변 토하더니, 본인 스스로 실패를 실토했다”며 이같이 말했다.
그는 “역시나 ‘입진보’였다. 박원순 전 서울시장의 성추행 의혹을 기정사실화하면 사자명예훼손이라며 적반하장식 생떼를 쓰더니 결국 자신의 이중성을 전국민에 생생하게 확인시켜줬다”고 힐난했다.
이어 “자신도 잘못된 걸 알지만 입으로는 옳다고 끝까지 우겨대는 거짓 진보의 이중의식이 적나라하게 드러났다”고 지적했다.
김 교수는 “같은 날 국회에서 부동산을 반드시 잡겠다고 호언장담한 문재인 대통령 명예훼손 아니냐”며 “공정과 정의를 외치며 자녀들 입시비리와 특혜 대접을 당연시 여기는 조국 부류와 말로는 반미를 외치며 한결같이 미국 유학 보내는 민주당 의원들, 강남 살 필요 없다며 집 팔라 강요하고 자신은 강남 똘똘한 한 채를 고집하는 공직자들, 이젠 놀랍지도 않고 지켜보기 역겨울 뿐”이라고 일침을 날렸다.
그러면서 “민주화 경력으로 엉겁결에 뱃지 달고 대깨문들의 맹목적 지지에 업혀 사리분간 못하고 진보인 척 하지만 정작 자신의 삶과 생각은 전혀 그렇지 않은 여권의 이중성은 정말 참을 수 없는 존재의 가벼움 그 자체”라고 꼬집었다.
앞서 진성준 의원은 전날 방송된 MBC ‘100분 토론’에서 부동산 대책을 주제로 토론을 마친 뒤 마이크가 꺼지지 않은 상태에서 정부의 부동산 대책 효과에 한계가 있다는 취지의 발언을 해 논란이 불거졌다.
진 의원은 함께 출연한 김현아 통합당 비상대책위원이 “(집값이)떨어지는 것이 국가 경제에 너무 부담이 되기 때문에 그렇게 막 떨어뜨릴 수 없다”고 말하자 “그렇게 해도 (부동산 가격이) 안 떨어진다. 부동산이 뭐 이게 어제 오늘 일인가”라고 했다.

Audi Korea to fill 35 pct of lineup with EVs by 2030
HONGCHEON, South Korea, July 17 (Yonhap) -- Audi Korea said it plans to launch more all-electric vehicles to fill 35 percent of its lineup with the emission-free models by 2030 amid rising demand for environment friendly cars.
Early this month, the German carmaker launched the e-tron 55 quattro sport utility vehicle, its first fully electric model, in South Korea following rollouts in Germany, the United States and China last year.
"The switch from combustion engines to electric vehicles is coming worldwide, not just in Korea. I believe that emission-free driving is a part of sustainability, like a focus of automotive companies," Audi Executive Director Jeff Mannering in charge of South Korean operations told reporters after a media test drive event held Monday.

In the coming months, a lot of companies will start to introduce more electric vehicles in global markets, and Audi will do so as well, he said.
Audi currently sells the e-tron Sportback SUV in the U.S. and unveiled the Q4 e-tron SUV concept this month with an aim to mass-produce the model next year. It also unveiled the prototype of the e-tron S high-performance SUV in February.
The company said it is considering introducing the new e-tron models in the Korean market to take advantage of growing local appetite for EVs and improvements in the charging infrastructure.
Mannering said the rapidly increasing number of charging stations will enable the carmaker to launch more pure electric cars here.
"One of the biggest challenges for EVs in every country in the world is how do I charge my EV," said Mannering. "Korea is probably world leader in public charging infrastructure and that's probably why now is the right time for us to introduce the car because you only have to drive 30 kilometers to the next charging station."
Audi Korea's aggressive EV push is in line with Audi AG's long-term business plan to increase its proportion of electrified vehicles, including plug-in hybrid models, to 33 percent by 2025. Audi AG aims to launch more than 20 kinds of electrified models globally by 2025 to sell over 800,000 units a year.
The current global situation reinforces the importance of sustainability economically, socially and environmentally. And emission-free drive systems have their part to play, Mannering said.
The e-tron 55 quattro SUV comes with a higher-capacity 95-kWh battery pack, and its two electric motors fitted to each axle on the front and rear can generate a combined 360 horsepower.
The company said it will deliver a three-year warranty for the e-tron, with the guarantee period for the battery reaching eight years.
It can travel up to 307 kilometers on a single charge and accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.6 seconds. The zero-emission SUV is available for 117 million won (US$98,000).
Audi Volkswagen Korea sells four brands -- Audi, Volkswagen, Lamborghini and Bentley -- in Asia's fourth-biggest economy.
Its overall sales from January to June more than quadrupled to 17,751 vehicles of the four brands from 4,442 units in the year-ago period, according to data from the Korean Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).
Sales of Audi badge vehicles jumped nearly fourfold to 10,071 units from 2,560 during the same period, KAIDA said.
Audi Volkswagen Group resumed sales in South Korea in early 2018 after suspending normal operations in 2016 following an emissions cheating scandal that hurt consumer confidence in the brand.
